The Beginning of Politics
Hand Book is a visual study documenting the intimate gestures and unscripted moments of the 2020 Democratic presidential race, photographed by Jamie-James Medina. I led the creative and art direction of the book, developing a restrained editorial system that allowed the imagery to carry emotional weight without spectacle. Captured just before the onset of COVID-19, the project preserves a fleeting moment in political history with clarity and nuance.
